Well, the company actually has nothing to do with paper. The hero's office was set up for the purpose of an elaborate desk company's scheme to misappropriate the sales of desks to their investors. Because the protagonist stopped using the desk, the company could be found out and would be susceptible to legal entanglements.

Actually, I just made all that up. That part of the movie is made as a joke, so there is no explanation. Thanks for watching.

I didn't quite understand what it was all about. Not much did seem to be understandable. Okey, so he get an ice cream from a strange creature and he doesn't want it. Maybe that thing that hit that creature was the friend indeed?
